CRACoWi – Cyber Resilience Act – Compliance Wizard, is a pioneering initiative funded under the Europe Digital Program, designed to address the growing cybersecurity challenges in the European digital market. In response to the European Commission’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the project introduces essential cybersecurity prerequisites across the entire product supply chain, ensuring compliance and strengthening digital product security. By leveraging artificial intelligence, CRACoWi will enable automated CRA self-assessment and support cybersecurity certification, assisting manufacturers, distributors, and importers in meeting the rigorous requirements of the CRA. This proactive approach ensures that cybersecurity considerations are embedded throughout a product’s lifecycle, enhancing the overall security of digital products within the EU.
The project is backed by a consortium of European partners from Greece, Germany, Slovenia, and Cyprus, bringing together SMEs, distributors, and regulatory bodies. The technology solutions provided by Onkey and Sevenshift’s Bunkai provide the advanced testing capabilities of the solution.
Beyond compliance, CRACoWi focuses on fostering cybersecurity awareness and strengthening the EU’s digital security landscape. The dissemination efforts, ensure that key stakeholders—from SMEs to regulatory bodies—are informed and equipped to navigate CRA complexities. The project also reinforces the role of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) in threat detection and response, complementing broader initiatives under the Digital Europe Program. By integrating cutting-edge security solutions and compliance frameworks, CRACoWi empowers businesses with the tools necessary to mitigate cyber threats, contributing to a more resilient and interconnected European digital economy.
