IoT and IIoT Security Trainings: 2020 event dates

Info, News

We finally have the confirmed dates for our 2020 IoT and IIoT Security Trainings!

This year SevenShift will be hosting two IoT Security Bootcamps at Startplatz in Cologne. The first one will take place on May 12th – 14th, and the second one will be on November 24th -26th. The training will cover all aspects of IoT Security, from the technologies and testing methodologies to the vulnerabilities. The main focus will be offensive security: attacking and testing devices and platforms,  from firmware to hardware and wireless hacking.

Our IoT Security Manager Training will also be back twice in 2020. On May 7th and November 9th at Startplatz in Cologne, we will help you gain a high-level understanding of the security in IoT (implementation, maintenance and innovation), and you will learn what it takes to manage a product for the Internet of Things.

We are also very glad to introduce in 2020 our new training Assessing and Exploiting Control Systems & IIoT in cooperation with ControlThings. We co-taught this training with Justin Searle at Blackhat Europe last year and will now be offering it in German and Spanish.  It will take place on June 16th -19th and October 20th – 23rd at Startplatz in Cologne, we will cover the basic control system concepts, systems, and devices. Hands-on exercises will be performed on a mixture of real world and simulated devices to provide participants the most realistic experience as possible.

Along with our IoT and IIoT Trainings, we will also speak or do workshops at several conferences. For example, at the Building Iot Conference on March 2th – 4th in Essen, we will be doing a workshop on wireless hacking and SDR. At the Embedded Cybersecurity Summit 2020 in Munich on May 19th – 20th in Munich, we will be doing  a workshop on BLE hacking.

If you need help selecting a training, want to organize a private training or just want to reach out to us, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will provide any additional information you need.

Keep your skills up to date and sharp, and grow your network at our Trainings.

We are looking forward to seeing you there!
